Hello!
this blog is specially made for my final year project. I am a graphic design student and my topic for my project is "dance-behind the scenes". I hope that by creating this blog, you can help me out with finding out what people would like to know about dance, dancers, choreographers etc... please on your answers write if you are MALE/FEMALE, your AGE and OCCUPATION (if you are students, what are you studying)
I would really appreciate your help!!!!

I would ask...'Do you think that rhythm is an attribute of individuals or something that can be learned and developed?’. This could probably be my question to a dancer!
1. why did you decide to practice dancing?
2. how does it feel when dancing?
3. How many years have you been dancing for? Has the way of feeling about dancing changed over time, and if yes, in waht way?
What are the important elements of a good choreography?
Is always ballet courses necessary for a dancer?
Can you live without dance?
If you work as a dancer does the passion goes and money takes its place?
Are you involved in other kind of arts except dance?

Dear Mr/ Mrs, nice to have you with us today! So...
what is the feeling when you dance?
why did you choose this type of dancing to practice?(for the different types,eg ballet, jazz, traditional etc)
do you prefer being alone on stage and give a single man performance or to dance with others together on stage, and why is that?
do you believe that if one dancer is not good enough but still believes he/she can succeed, they should continue trying, even if most signs point to the opposite?
if you weren't a dancer, what other occupation would you like to have?
Things that you can ask a Dancer are:
1. Is dancing a serious and diverse art or is it more like a hobby?
2. What things must a Dancer sacrifice in order to have success?
3. In Greece, where i come from, when someone is dancing, especially when it comes to zeimpekiko, shows the face of a defeat, the desperation of life or a dream that did not come true. And my question is: How hard is for a professional Dancer to show these feelings if he doesn't feel them during his dance?
My name is Giorgos, i am 27 years old, and i am doing a PhD in Aerodynamics in Hannover, Germany.
I would possibly ask..
1)The talent to dance is an ability with which a person is congenitally equipped or it is just cultivated through constant practice?
2)Are there any things or people that you have 'sacrificed' in order to become a successful dancer?
3)Would you encourage young people to engage with dancing? Why?
4)Who is a good dancer for you? Can you give me the criteria with which you define someone as a good dancer?
5)Is it important for a dancer to be 'flexible' while he/she is dancing? Why?
Dear Daphne,
It has been an honor to participate in this dancing-blog although I am a novice dancer as you probably know..:)
I have a dream... being Billy Elliot...
yeahh rightt.
Queries:
1. what trainning is required by a person in order to become a qualified dancer?
2. How many years usually required for being a qualified dancer?
3. Can a novice dancer in the age of 26 years old to start from scratch a career in dancing?
4. Are there any graduate schemes (weird) for dancing?
5. If there are graduate schemes for dancing careers, then is it possible for somebody to get into it without having appropriate body mass but to be very willing and passionate about dancing?
All the best with your project.

p.s. looking fw to seeing you again in the Great City of Bristol dear friends; Daphne, George, Angelos, Christina, George and you...;)
i really enjoy dancing, however, sometimes my body is a bit more thight, than at other times. it seems to happen when i've walked a long way, and sat down for a bit. at least, that's my perception. it can be frustrating, and sometimes a little embarassing, to lock up a bit, at the outset of dancing with someone. any[reasonable] suggestions, would be greatly appreciated......thanks
